“My Main Stage” is a music production pilot programme founded by Mr. Chiu Tsang-hei, aiming at the promotion and incubation of music industry among Hong Kong students. This programme provides students with platform and means to produce and to publish their own music. The ultimate goal is to help those students dedicated to Hong Kong music industry.

We visited more than 70 secondary schools and tertiary institutions since 2016. We gave free talks and performance to more than 8,000 students. In the process, more than 60 students joined this programme. The candidates worked alongside with Hei going through each and every process in music production. Instead of teaching, Hei adopted a problem-solving approach. By meeting with the candidates periodically, candidates are required to find the solutions to their questions and difficulties encountered during production.

Among all those candidates, over 10 adhered to pursue their dream in music career. These candidates have been working under the Hei’s mentorship and have produced their own songs. We have been releasing and publishing their songs via different online music streaming platforms.

The candidates successfully produced and published their own songs under “My Main Stage” programme will have the opportunities to establish a partnership with us. With such a partnership, they work together with 16th Productions Limited to establish their own music label and to produce music on a professional basis. We have specialists to work with them on productions, publishing, marketing and promotions, and performance arrangement.
